How is PET strapping made?
PET strapping is created through an automated process that begins with melting raw PET material. The melted material is then extruded into shape and cooled in a quenching tank. It undergoes stretching and relaxation stages, followed by a second cooling. Finally, the green PET strap is spooled onto coils, which are labeled and either stored or prepared for shipment. This process makes sure durable, tension-retaining, noncorrosive strapping ideal for securing loads.
